Delivery & Pickup

Shipping is currently only available to Australian addresses.

We do not charge for shipping on orders over $99! This does NOT include large items, heavy items, exhaust systems or tyres. Any orders under $99 will attract a delivery fee which will be quoted during the checkout process.

We aim to have your orders dispatched from our warehouse within 1 - 4 business days*. If the items are not in stock, we will notify you. We ship via Australia Post, Couriers Please or TNT. We will notify you by email upon shipping the order.

Orders may be fulfilled from more than one location based on stock availability and may arrive at differing times.

Where it is shown, stock quantities are updated periodically throughout the day and may not reflect current stock on hand at a location. All pickup/click’n’collect orders will be confirmed as ready for collection via email. For urgent orders please contact staff in store on (07) 5655 1700 to confirm stock and that your order is available for pickup.

Customers – Please ensure that your delivery address details are accurate when placing an order. Gold Coast Harley-Davidson is not responsible for lost/missing orders that were shipped to an incorrect address. Double check your delivery address on the sales confirmation email that you receive and if there are any problems please contact us immediately on (07) 5655 1700 or webordersgc@goldcoastharley.com.au.

* Due to COVID-19 restrictions there may be a delay in orders being dispatched and shipping times.

Returns

We must be notified in advance for all returns. We cannot accept any returns without prior notification. Please email webordersgc@goldcoastharley.com.au or phone (07) 5655 1700 to arrange a return.

If you receive any merchandise that you are unhappy with for any reason, simply return it to us within 30 days, however, goods must be in the original packaging, unused and sent at your shipping cost. We will happily exchange, credit or refund. We will not accept returns on "Special Order" items.

Refunds are processed back to the original card/account that the purchase was made and through the original payment processor.

Change of mind returns
 

If you have changed your mind and you are able to provide satisfactory proof of purchase, you may be eligible for an exchange or refund within a reasonable period of time from purchase (in most cases a reasonable period of time is deemed to be 30 days) provided that the item is:

  • is in new sealable condition;
  • is unworn or unused with all original, sealed packaging and tags attached; and
  • is not subject to the exclusions listed below

Exchanges for the same item in a different size will not incur any additional charges. However, if the new item is a different product (including a different colour) and there is a price difference, you will need to pay the difference.

Gold Coast Harley-Davidson is not required to provide you with a copy of your original receipt to facilitate an exchange or refund.

Exclusions to change of mind returns

If you have changed your mind, you are not eligible for an exchange or refund for:

  • custom made, personalized or altered items;
  • gift cards or vouchers;
  • special orders; or
  • electrical items.

Return/Exchange of faulty products

If you believe an item is not of acceptable quality (for example, it is faulty), then you may have right to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. These rights are not impacted by the change of mind policy or limited by a defined timeframe. However, the Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period may vary by product (or service) depending on the nature of the goods (or service).

Where you believe an item is not of acceptable quality, it may necessary for us to send your goods to the manufacturer or their service agent for it to be assessed within a reasonable period of time. If there is a major failure with the item, you may choose a refund, exchange or repair. If the failure is minor, we will repair the item (or, at our discretion, we may replace the item or refund you) within a reasonable time.

Where an item is damaged through abnormal use, Gold Coast Harley-Davidson is not required to provide a refund, exchange or repair.

Please keep your receipt as we will require satisfactory proof that you purchased the item from us before providing a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.

Terms & Conditions

Gold Coast Harley-Davidson use dynamic IP Address determination to detect which country a customer is viewing our website and where they reside. This allows us to display the correct pricing information and shipping charges determined by your IP address and country of origin/residence.

We reserve the right to alter or deny purchase where the customer has arrived at our website via a proxy service or where due to the vagaries of the Internet our website has incorrectly determined the origin of the website visitor.

Customers - Please ensure your contact details (including your email address and phone number) are correct. This ensures that you receive a prompt response. We cannot always correct a fault in an email address as it is not always obvious. If you want your parcel left at your front door (authority to leave), we are NO LONGER responsible for your item once it has been delivered.

Orders and emails are printed off every weekday morning, not on weekends. If you place an order on Saturday, Sunday or Friday afternoon, your order will not be attended to until Monday.

All Australian orders will be confirmed and freight amount advised before shipping or payment. If you are located outside of Australia and order online via the website, postage is charged by our current international rates, please contact our team at webordersgc@goldcoastharley.com.au for international shipping quotes.

Orders with direct deposit payment method, will receive our bank details via email once items have been confirmed in stock. The order confirmation email will not contain bank details. Do not deposit funds into our account until you receive an email confirming your order including our bank details.

We strive to offer 100% satisfaction. In order to achieve this, we request all the information supplied is as accurate as possible. We require the brand, model, capacity and year of your motorcycle(s) along with any modifications.

Payment Processing

Payment processing of credit cards and digital wallets is handled by Braintree, a division of PayPal. All private payment information such as credit card number, expiry date and CVV are entered into the payment module and communicated securely and directly with PayPal. At no point is your confidential payment information saved on this website.

For the protection of customers and Gold Coast Harley-Davidson, both automated and manual fraud safety checks are employed on all orders. In some instances where an order may be deemed as high risk, the payment may be denied automatically by the payment processor or cancelled and refunded manually by staff prior to shipping the order. Further proof of identification may be requested to confirm some orders.

Direct Deposit

An order can be paid for at any Commonwealth Bank branch around the country. If this is the preferred option, we will email a deposit slip to take to the nearest Commonwealth Bank branch. We can only accept cash, money order or EFTPOS with this method. Sorry no credit cards. We cannot confirm the funds until the next working day.

Bank Transfer

Can be either a transfer from your bank or via “internet banking”. We will provide a reference number. We cannot confirm the funds until the next working day.

Cheque / Money Order

Once the order is confirmed and finalised, we will advise a total amount which can be paid for using this method.

Personal Cheque

If using this method, we will need to wait for clearance from the bank, up to 7 days.

Bank Cheque

We will send the goods immediately upon receipt of the cheque.

Money Order

Goods can be sent on receipt of the money order.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 36 months from date of purchase. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash. 

  • Any additional cost exceeding the value of this voucher will be paid by the redeemer.
  • Gift Vouchers will be considered null and void without the Expiry Date and Authorized Voucher Code being filled up and validated as unused, seal and other authentication signs or if tampered.
  • Gift Vouchers will not be replaced when lost, damaged or stolen.
  • Gift Vouchers are valid only at Gold Coast Harley-Davidson or participating stores. 
  • In the event of any dispute, the decision made by Gold Coast Harley-Davidson is final.
  • Gold Coast Harley-Davidson reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

Currency

All prices are shown in Australian Dollars with your country equivalent eg: New Zealand dollars (NZD) Pricing outside Australia is exclusive of GST.

All goods must be paid for in Australian Dollars (AUD) as calculated against current exchange rates. Goods cannot be shipped until funds are confirmed to be in our account. An order number will be used as reference. 

Lay-By's are available for a 10% deposit and MUST be paid within 3 months of initial deposit. Please Contact staff for details.
